Over recent years, major labels such as Universal Music Group, Sony BMG, EMI, and Warner Music Group, have begun offering “360 deals”. In a nutshell a 360 deal is where the label says to the artist, producer, DJ, etc. “Since we are going to be putting all of this money behind you to help you be successful, we want a percentage of anything and everything you make money off of by signing to us.”
